John 12:25-27

²⁵ “Anyone who loves his life loses it,
but the one who hates his life in this world
will preserve it for eternal life.
²⁶ If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person.
²⁷ “Now my soul is troubled.
Yet what should I say:
‘Father, save me from this hour’?
No, it was for this
that I have come to this hour.
